This book does not start like his other books. Partick writes about Auri, which is a character that appears in book 2. He writes about her life in the Underthing and what she does. She is…peculiar, to say the least. Now, I don’t want to ruin the book for you, so I’ll just say this: This book will only focus on Auri, NOT Kvothe. If you are looking to continue to read about Kvothe, skip this book. This is a daily life in Auri’s point of view, and very little happens. I personally enjoyed the book, but you might not.
